I've ordered a few items from WB, including the Rainbow Unicorn double barrel mug. This one ended up heavily discoloring on the bottom outside in less than a month, probably due to the materials used. This one is NOT protected outside by ceramic, so the steel will discolor, apparently very easily.
That being said, I've almost exclusively used this mug since I received it. Even with an open top, my ice stays intact and my drinks are cold for 6-8 hours! I really love this specific print, and, having both this and a ceramic coated mug, wish this design was made available with a ceramic outer coat. The functionality alone keeps this review at a 3 out of 5, and if the mug had lasted longer than 3 weeks without extreme discoloring/fading, would have rated higher.
EDIT BEFORE POSTING: WB contacted me on twitter and offered to make the issue right! They used the hashtag #AvoidTheDishwasher, and while we do not own a dishwasher, nor do we use any detergent other than Dawn, I have to commend them for their reply and customer service., and will be much more careful with future mugs. Review raised one star to reflect this.
Their soda, sauces, and candy are out of this world, though. Great company!
