Both Birch and Rootbeer were really good
This is truly old fashioned soda, a taste I've been searching for since I was a kid. I've only tried the root beer, but will be trying the other flavors, but it has a great taste, that you can only get with old fashioned soda, plus you can get yourself a cool cup to drink this delicious nectar of life from, personally went with the blue tankard. If you are thinking you need to try Wild Bill's, your right, so stop thinking, and get yourself some. Your taste buds will thank you.
I first had Wild Bill and a convention in Hartford and since then I've always bought a different flavor when I attended one where they are present but my favorite is the classic Root Beer with it's smooth taste with a zip to it.
1st, customer service is exceptional. I had 4 out of 24 cans explode during shipping due to the extreme cold (it was -20 degrees here the day I received the shipment @ about 88:30pm so not only cold but bouncing around in the UPS truck all day - I emailed them same day and they sent 4 new replacements the next day. 2, packaging is very sturdy and secure for shipping.3rd, I enjoyed all the flavors in the starter kit that included 1 of each flavor offered, even the diet root beer which is almost never the case. Loved the Buck 'n Birch Beer and the Sarsaparilla. Both very very delicious. 4th, labeling on the can needs better QA. Every beverage comes in the same can with a plastic or vinyl like label wrapped around it. On more than half of them the label's seam was right where the lips are when drinking and this causes a semi-sharp uncomfortable experience. Better QA would fix this easily and isn't a huge deal really. 5th, and my only real con about the company and the beverages is the price. They are very expensive for a 12oz can. I paid $70 for 24 cans and a mug. While I thought the soda pops were very good, they aren't THAT good imho. If the price was a bit more reasonable I'd give 5 stars without any reservations. But still overall very pleased with the experience, the company, and my 1st "taste" of a craft brewery product. I'll will buy again, but probably only for more special occasion than every day enjoyment.
